At Scoil Mhuire Brierhill, digital learning is an important part of how we prepare children for life in a modern, connected world. Technology is used to support teaching and learning across many subject areas, while also helping children to develop key digital skills.
Our approach to digital learning focuses on:
- Safe and responsible use of technology – children learn about online safety, digital citizenship, and how to use technology in a positive way.
- Enhancing learning – digital tools are used in meaningful ways to make lessons engaging and interactive, and to support creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration.
- Access to technology – the school has two sets of iPads that are used across classes for research, projects, presentations, and creative activities.
Digital learning also plays an important role in inclusion, helping to level the playing field for students when completing work and giving every child opportunities to succeed in different ways.
